Kohat District Council meets for first time
KOHAT: The first district council session was convened at the District Council Hall here on Monday. During his inaugural speech, District Nazim Niaz Muhammad criticised the government for not introducing rules of business. He said that councillors could not serve people in the absence of rules of business.

KOHAT: The first district council session was convened at the District Council Hall here on Monday. During his inaugural speech, District Nazim Niaz Muhammad criticised the government for not introducing rules of business. He said that councillors could not serve people in the absence of rules of business. Deputy Commissioner Zahir Shah, District Police Officer Sohaib Ashraf and other officials were also present at the inaugural secession. Addressing the ceremony, deputy commissioner said the government had allocated Rs48 billion for development projects.
