Call to follow Allama Iqbal’s teachings
Lahore:Two literary sessions on Allama Iqbal were held at Alhamra Cultural Complex, Gaddafi Stadium, here.
In the first session, Moeen Nizami discussed the topic “Renewal of Religious Concepts in Islam." In the second session, Sarosh Alamghir discussed the topic "Iqbal's Concepts of Love." Moin Nizami said that Iqbal in his teachings strongly condemned malpractice. He said that Allama Iqbal had always emphasised that people who have faith in themselves would get honour and dignity. Sarosh Alamghir stressed the need for following the teachings of Allama Muhammad Iqbal to steer the country out of the prevailing multifarious challenges and transform it into a true Islamic welfare country as envisioned by the country’s forefathers.
He discusses the sources of confirmation of Iqbal's concepts, philosophical discussions and knowledge. He stated that according to Iqbal’s teaching, nations could get a unique place in the world through their high morality. Alhamra Executive Director Athar Ali Khan said Alhamra Arts Council was doing its best to promote the thinking and teachings of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal in the youths. He said that Iqbal’s message was about peace and security for the entire world because Allama Muhammad Iqbal as a great philosopher, Muslim thinker and poet always highlighted various aspects of life and religion. The Lahore Art Council arranged the sittings to spread the message of Allama Iqbal among the masses.
