Kidnapped youth found dead

LAHORE:A 19-year-old boy, who was kidnapped on Sunday last, was found murdered in the Sherakot police limits on Thursday.

Police have removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The victim was identified as Hamdan Khan Niazi, a resident of New Muslim Park, Ghani Colony. His body was found from a drain. His friends had taken him out from the house but he never returned. Police registered a case and started investigations.

His sack-packed body was spotted in the drain. The victim’s family alleged that police had delayed action against Hamdan’s friends which resulted into his murder.

In another incident, Abdullah, 23, a resident of Gulshane Iqbal, was killed allegedly by his friends. The victim had been missing for the last 10 days. Police arrested his friends Ammar and two others who confessed that the victim had died due to the addiction of ice.

They had thrown his body in the canal in Phoolnagar. Police have been trying to arrest the victim’s fourth friend, Shaka. shot dead: Two persons were shot dead by unidentified suspects over an old enmity in Hurbanspura police limits on Thursday.

Police have removed the bodies to morgue for autopsy. The victims have been identified as Razzaq and Babar.

Police said the victims had a domestic dispute with a resident of Moghalpura. On the day of the incident, the suspects approached the victims and opened firing. As a result, both received injuries and died on the spot. The accused fled the scene.
