A spokesman for Punjab Food Authority said that laboratory reports of suspect meat recovered from Lahore Railway Station said it was beef. He said that according to the reports of two different laboratories, the meat could be of cow or buffalo (bovine). He said that the meat taken into possession was unhygienic and dangerous for humans. Punjab Food Authority will take action as per law, he added.
