LAHORE: Railways Minister Sh Rasheed said Tuesday Prime Minister Imran Khan was not supporting any mafia, but "mafia has been strong since the days of Ayub Khan."
In a TV interview, he confessed: "No one, including us, could weaken this mafia. No one could break APTMA, no one could break sugar mafia."
He revealed: “In every political party, 11 cartels have decisive role. They actually make or break a government. These cartels push unelected people (into government), technocrats who get strong, “decisive” ministries.”
When the TV anchor asked if the situation was same at present, the minister replied in the affirmative.
