The retired employees of the PMRC have not received their monthly pensions for the last one year and awaiting justice from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) after filing a petition with the court in July, last year.
Addressing a press conference along with aggrieved retired employees, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) naib ameer Mian Muhammad Aslam called upon the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Health Minister for release of their pensions and payment of outstanding dues.

They said that depriving them of their basic rights was also violation of certain clauses of the Constitution, which deal with human rights. "We gave our energies to the research institution and now are being deprived of our pensions," they said.
