PESHAWAR: The Bank of Khyber (BoK) and JCB International Co Ltd (JCBI), the international operations subsidiary of JCB Co Ltd, Japan, entered into an agreement for the issuance of JCB Debit Cards on Friday.
The international Debit Card will facilitate BOK’s customers with the benefits of both point of sale and ATM cash withdrawal across Pakistan and globally at locations in more than 190 countries and territories, said a press release.
The signing ceremony was attended by H. E. Hiroshi Inomata, Japanese ambassador in Pakistan, along with senior members of the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad.
The ceremony was attended by Kimihisa Imada, deputy president of JCBI, along with his delegation, Dr Hammad Uwais Agha, chairman BoK Board of Directors, Ahmad Hanif Orakzai, secretary finance government of KP, Member Board of Directors, Rashid Ali Khan, member BoK Board of Directors, Shams-ul-Qayyum, managing director BOK, and senior officials from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
The agreement was signed by Shabeer Ahmad Sheikh, executive vice president & group head operations, on behalf of BoK and Kimihisa Imada, deputy president, on behalf of the JCBI.
