Shaheed Malak Saad paid rich tributes
KOHAT: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sanaullah Abbasi and others paid rich tributes to Malak Muhammad Saad Khan shaheed here on Monday.
Malak Saad was the Capital City Police Officer when he was martyred in a suicide blast near Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar on January 27, 2007, while overseeing the 7th Muharram mourning procession.
IGP Sanaullah Abbasi, Regional Police Officer Kohat, Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, DIG (Investigation) Peshawar, Qazi Jamilur Rehman, District Police Officer Mansoor Aman, former district nazim Malak Muhammad Asad Khan and other police officials attended the 13th anniversary of the senior cop at Ghulam Banda.
The IGP placed a floral wreath on the grave of the martyred senior cop and prayed for his eternal peace.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial police said the services and sacrifice rendered by Shaheed Malak Muhammad Saad Khan were an important part of the history of KP police.
He said that the government and Police Department would always extend support to the family of the martyred cop.
