PESHAWAR: The concluding programmes of the Bacha Khan Week to observe the death anniversaries of Abdul Ghaffar Khan (Bacha Khan) and Abdul Wali Khan were held here on Monday.
Awami National Party (ANP) central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain, provincial general secretary Sardar Hussain Babak and other leaders were present on the occasion.
A poetry recital session was arranged at the Bacha Khan Markaz in connection with the week.
The Khudai Khidmatgar Museum and Khudai Khidmatgar Corridor were inaugurated at the Markaz to highlight the sacrifices of the workers of the movement. The ANP leaders thanked the party workers for arranging the Bacha Khan Week to pay tributes to the leaders. They said that solution to the Pakhtuns' problems could be found in Bacha Khan's philosophy of non-violence.
