Art under fire

The government has sent the much awaited movie ‘Zindagi Tamasha’ to government officials including representatives of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) and Tehreek-e-Labbaaik Pakistan (TLP) for re-evaluating despite it being cleared by the censor board.

For how long will our art and culture suffer at the hands of those who have no literary sensibilities? Was Zia's era not enough to destroy whatever artistic creativity we were left with?
