Islamabad: The Met Office has forecast rainfall in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and adjoining areas for today (Tuesday).
Though no rain will fall on the next two days, weather will be partly overcast. The temperature is likely to be at around 3-4 degree Celsius. According to a weatherman, the rain will be caused by a fresh westerly wave, which is to last 24 hours.
"Cloudy weather is expected in upper parts of the country on Tuesday. However, rainfall
with snowfall on mountains is expected in isolated places of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad," he said.
The official of the Met Office said fog was likely to prevail in districts of south Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and night hours on Tuesday. He said cold and dry weather was expected in other parts of the country.
