Police foils attempt to smuggle heroine

Islamabad:Islamabad Golra police has foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of narcotics from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to Islamabad and arrested two notorious lady drug peddlers besides recovery of a total of 02.050 kilogram fine heroine from them, a police spokesman said.

He said that Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed had assigned special task to all zonal officers to ensure arrest of those involved in drug smuggling activities. Following these directions, a police team under supervision of SDPO Sadar Khalid Mehmood Awan including SHO Golra Shabir Ahmad Tanoli and others succeeded to nab two notorious lady drug peddlers Perveen bibi daughter of Ejaz resident of Golra Sharif & recovered 1020 gram fine heroine, lodged fir no 32/20, dated 20/1/20 U/S 9C CNSA and her daughter Wajida daughter of Mohammad Sajid resident of Golra sharif and recovered 1030 fine herione, lodged fir no 33/20 dated 20/1/20 under section 9C CNSA. Both were supplying drugs in educational institutions. They were previously challaned/convicted in similar cases as well.
