Gas agony

This refers to the news report, ‘Gas tariff increased by up to 63 percent’ (September 1). Ogra has recommended a reduction of Rs6 per litre in POL prices. Instead the government reduced the price by only Rs3. In addition, gas tariff has been increased from 13 percent to 63 percent.
It seems as if Ogra and the federal government have joined forces to make our lives more difficult. They should know that their first duty is to provide relief to people.
