Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din has said that effective steps will be taken for the psychological and social rehabilitation of Kasur incident affectees.
Addressing a meeting of women assembly members at the committee room of the Punjab Assembly on Monday, the provincial minister said the children were our precious asset and future of the nation therefore their education, training and protection was our obligation. She said the government had started action against the accused involved in the Kasur incident. She said the parents and teachers should play their role for creating awareness among children about their protection and lending a helping hand to the government in the awareness campaign. A condemnation resolution was presented against the Kasur incident in the meeting of the women assembly members and it was demanded from the government to take effective steps by evolving a strategy for eradication of cyber crime so that such incidents could not happen in future.
