Latest trends in technology, entrepreneurship discussed

PESHAWAR: To promote the latest trends in technology and entrepreneurship, the FAST-NUCES Peshawar in the collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government held the Tech KP 2020 on Friday.

Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Finance Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra, Advisor to Chief Minister on Science and Information Technology Ziaullah Bangash were among the key speakers. Dr Muhammad Tariq, Director of FAST-NUCES, in his inaugural address said “the trends in technology lead to competing in the business market and entrepreneurial ventures. We are having onboard an audience of 400+ professionals from a diverse group belonging to Corporate, Startup, Academia, Government and Development sectors.” Dr Ayub Alvi, Rector FAST-NUCES Peshawar, stated in his address that FAST-NUCES Peshawar has brought digital tech KP 2020 event for the very first time in Peshawar which will be beneficial for future of our youth in long run”. Tania Aidrus, chief of staff and head of strategic initiatives on the Next Billion Users (NBU) team at Google, stated that “Instead of freaking out about these constraints, embrace them. Constraints drive innovation and force focus. Instead of trying to remove them, use them to your advantage.”

Haroon Sethi Founder of Khareed (E-Procurement Solutions) in his panel discussion talk said that the case for digitalization needs no winning arguments.

Nations becoming increasingly digital have experienced growth and productivity in their economies and businesses, leading to more jobs, higher levels of innovation, and better quality of life.
