92nd birth anniversary of ZA Bhutto celebrated
SUKKUR: The 92nd birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was celebrated with traditional zeal in all parts of Sindh, including Sukkur, Jaccobabad, Ghotki, Khairpur and other districts, where party leaders and workers paid rich tributes to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Meanwhile, the speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani said Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a brave and patriotic leader. He said ZA Bhutto and his daughter, former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, had sacrificed their lives for the welfare of people and the promotion of democracy. Siraj Durrani said ZA Bhutto’s 92nd birth anniversary was celebrated at the premises of Kot-Durrani here on Sunday. Durrani said PPP founder ZA Bhutto made Pakistan a nuclear state but did not accept any pressure. He emphasised the diehard workers of PPP to carry his philosophy and recalled the quotes of Benazir Bhutto “democracy is best revenge”. The number of party workers including Agha Shujauddin Pathan, Dado Khan Pathan, Aslam Soomro, Imdad Khakhrani and others were also present on the occasion and shouted slogans.
