2 arrested in murder case of two cops

TIMERGARA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday arrested the alleged killers of two cops, official sources said. They said that Usama Saeed and Hameedullah were arrested along with two facilitators during an intelligence-based operation in Maidan area. The police team also recovered from their possession the official weapons they had snatched from the martyred cops along with the pistol used in the crime. The arrested accused were shifted to Swat for further investigation. On December 18, Constable Farmanullah and special police personnel, Mukarram Khan, embraced martyrdom when they came under attack at Markhanai bridge. The cops were on duty to provide security to the anti-polio team.
