Locals robbed of valuables

DASKA: Dacoits Tuesday snatched valuables from the locals.
Tauseef Ahmed was heading to home from Gujranwala when he was intercepted by three robbers who snatched cash, gold ornaments and the motorcycle from him in the area of sadr police.
In another incident, thieves entered out-house of Riasat Ali and took away his valuables.
SUICIDE BID: A married woman tried to commit suicide in the city area over domestic issues.
The woman swallowed poisonous pills and when her condition worsened she was taken to civil hospital in a critical condition.
FIVE POS ARRESTED: Circle police claimed arresting six proclaimed offenders.
On a tip-off, police raided a locality and arrested POs identified as Sajjad, Inyat, Shahbaz, Asif and Abdul Waheed.
EX-MPA SON INFLICTED INJURIES: Three accused injured the son of a former MPA over a petty issue in the city area on Tuesday.
The son of former MPA Muhammad Ashfaq exchanged harsh words with Usman, Suleman and Waseem over a minor issue at a shop. The accused shot at and injured the MPA son.
