CHITRAL: The activists of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Tuesday expressed anger over the special court’s verdict against General (r) Pervez Musharraf.
Speaking at a press conference, Shahzada Amirul Hasnat, Mohsin Hayat, Abdul Qayyum, Ahmed Khan, Mir Rahim, Waqas Ahmed and others said the court verdict had sent a wave of shock across Chitral.
Three of the activists offered themselves for hanging in place of Musharraf. They said they along with their sons were ready to sacrifice lives for Musharraf.
The activists said Musharraf was the benefactor of the people of Chitral and the court verdict was against the interest of the country. They believed the judgment was delivered without following the due process of law.
