Nowshera Cantonment Board members honoured on tenure completion
NOWSHERA: Cantonment Board members held a meeting upon completion of their four years term.
A press release said the services of the elected members were acknowledged and the shields distributed to the Board members by the President, Cantonment Board, Brig Nazir Hussain Khan. The members thanked the president Cantonment Board and chief executive officer for their cooperation during their tenure wherein they thought unprecedented development works were carried out.
They said the services for Cantonment Board, Nowshera, were up to the expectations of the public. A member, Fayyaz Muhammad Khan, from Ward No 1, stated that construction of CG Hospital and establishment of a modern Montessori are under-construction in Nowshera cantonment.
Muhammad Ismail praised the CB initiative of establishing a Women Skill Centre in his ward. Stephen Ghauri on behalf of the minorities appreciated the CB Nowshera’s efforts for the rights of minorities, including Christian and Hindus. The meeting was attended by the nominated members of Cantt Board Nowshera, including Lt Col Mehmood Sultan, AQ Garrison, Lt Col Muhammad Sadiq, CO SSC, Lt Col Saleem Mehmood, assistant commandant CMH, and Maj Fahad Ali Khan.
