ISLAMABAD: While a wet outfield and bad light prevented resumption of third day’s play in the first Test, Pakistan players found time to sign autographs and take selfies with young students and fans at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Pakistan players including Babar Azam, Imamul Haq, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Abid Ali interacted with their excited fans. Every kid wanted an autograph or a selfie with the cricket stars, who obliged a majority of them with open hearts.
There was a special fan following of Babar Azam with the kids chanting “Babar, Babar, Babar” on seeing him at the ground. The world’s No 1 T20 batsman is possibly the only superstar in the national team. He has earned fame through his brilliant performances.
