Our own enemies
December 14, 2019
The damage done to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology is believed to be Rs70 million. This does not include the cost to patients who may have come from far-off places. Why do we take pleasure in destroying public property? Why do we do our best to disturb and inconvenience those who have nothing to do with the problem?
In the past ten years Islamabad Highway has been blocked countless times. All these blockades only cause extreme inconvenience to the public. An hour's trip takes three times as much time and wastage of fuel. We don't need external enemies. We are our own worst enemies. May Allah guide this nation.
