PDWP approves 18 projects: Dilazak Road dualisation among schemes
PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Thursday approved 18 projects worth Rs15117.7936 million.
Additional Chief Secretary/Secretary P&D Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Atif Rehman chaired the meeting. The forum considered 22 projects about different sectors including roads and bridges, DWSS, Health and Sports and Tourism sectors for the uplift of the province, said an official communique. Four projects were deferred and were returned to their respective departments for rectification. The approved projects of roads and bridges sector include; construction of roads in UCs Kehal, Central Urban, Malikpura, Nawanshehr, Shiekhul Bandi, Kakul, Mirpur, Banda Pir Khan and Cantt area, Abbottabad; dualization of road from Katlang Bazaar Doran Abad Chowk (Chungi) Mardan; dualisation of Dilazak Road (05 Km) from Ring Road chowk towards Grid Station, Peshawar; construction of internal roads in PK-10, district Peshawar.
