Geo Super to telecast BPL matches live
KARACHI: The seventh edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will start from 11th December, 2019 featuring seven sides competing against one another at the premier T20 tournament of the country.
The first day will see defending champions Cumilla Warriors takes on Rangpur Rangers in a day-night encounter at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka and 2nd match will be played between Chattogram Challengers and Sylhet Thunder, while the summit clash will take place on 17th January 2020 in Dhaka.
Pakistan’s first sports channel Geo Super will telecast live all matches. The competition will be organised by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The teams are Dhaka Platoon, Khulna Tigers, Rajshahi Royals, Sylhet Thunder, Chattogram Challengers, Cumilla Warriors and Rangpur Rangers. Many Pakistani cricketers will take part in BPL including Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Irfan, Shoaib Malik, Wahab Riaz, Asif Ali, Musa Khan, Junaid Khan, Muhammad Sami, Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, while Chris Gayle, Thisara Perera, Ravi Bopara, Andre Russell, Mohammad Nabi, Shai Hope, Lewis Gregory, Cameron Delport, Kusal Perera, Mujeeb ur Rahman, David Malan, Dashun Sanaka and other international players also playing.
