ISLAMABAD: International Cricket Council (ICC) chief curator Andy Atkinson will help impart latest techniques of pitch-preparation with the Pakistan curators during his forthcoming stint.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested the ICC to depute Atkinson for training and supervision of pitch-preparation at the start of 2020. “He will be available for short stints in two phases within next couple of months. We are not happy with pitch-preparations and have planned to get Atkinson’s help in making domestic pitches more competitive and result-oriented. He will not only share his insight with local curators but will also supervise pitch-preparation,” a PCB spokesman said.
