Scattered rain likely
LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather with scattered rain was observed in the City here Tuesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a westerly wave is present at western border (Afghanistan region) of the country and likely to affect Balochistan today (Wednesday) and grip upper and central parts of the country tomorrow (Thursday).
They predicted that cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, widespread rain-wind/thunderstorm (with snowfall over hills) is expected in districts of Balochistan, at scattered places in districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in districts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Punjab and Sindh.
Tuesday's minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu where mercury dropped down to -08°C while in Lahore, it was 5.7°C and maximum was 20.5°C.
