It is expected that a large number of traders and businessmen from Shah Alam Market, Branderth Road, Anarkali, Urdu Bazaar, Bilal Ganj, Customs Agents Association, Freight Forwarders Association, Ferozepur Road, Liberty, Ganpat Road, Beadon Road, Hall Road, Mall Road, Abid Market and others will attend the opening ceremony to express their solidarity with the Alliance. Industrialists from Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Sundar Industrial Estate, Raiwind Road Industrial Estate, Sheikhupura Industrial Estate and other industrial sectors will also attend the ceremony.
Progressive Group and Lahore Businessmen Front Alliance (PLBFA) had joined hands against corrupt practices last year and contested the elections from the platform of Progressive & Lahore Customs Agents Association Alliance. Nevertheless, to accommodate and give representation to all segments of the businesses and industry, Lahore Customs Agents Association led by Ch Muhammad Amjad announced a new platform Lahore Businessmen Front. Continuing their fight, both the main opposition groups are contesting from the platform of the Progressive & Lahore Businessmen Front Alliance (PLBFA).
