LAHORE:Partly cloudy weather was reported in the city on Monday while the Met office predicted similar weather conditions during the next 24 hours.
The Met officials said that a westerly wave is located over Iran and its adjoining areas and likely to approach western parts of the country in next 36 hours. They predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country.
However, rain-thunderstorm (with light snowfall over mountains) is expected at isolated places in northwestern Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Shallow fog is also likely to prevail at isolated places in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning time.
Rainfall was recorded at Turbat, Jiwani and Panjgur. Monday's lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Skardu and Astore where mercury dropped down to -08C while in Lahore it was 6.6C and maximum was 20.5C.
