LAHORE: Former cricketers and sports analysts have expressed their disappointment over
the team’s loss in Australia and criticised the Pakistani cricket authorities.
In this regard former Test cricketer Muhamamd Ilyas said he was disappointed over Pakistan’s miserably losing Test series in Australia:He said: “Its Misbah who himself has to decide his future role,” he said.
Ilyas said that criticism of the team is right but there should not be high expectations from a young team on a tough tour.
Former Test cricketer Aaqib Javed blasted the changes in the team. “Changes in the team were made after bashing at the hands of Sri Lanka but recruiting young cricketers for Australia tour was beyond understanding,” he added.He said that there is a need of consistency in the system if consistency is required in the performance.
