Man guns down adoptive mother

A man killed his adoptive mother for refraining him from bad activities in the Hanjarwal area on Sunday. The victim identified as Ambar of Rana Town, Hanjarwal, was childless. She adopted Ahsan and brought him up as her own son. She used to advise him to give up bad habits but he paid no heed to her requests. On the day of the incident, the accused got infuriated when his adoptive mother Ambar tried to stop her from carrying a gun while going out of his house.

Body found: The body of a 25-year-old youth was found in a car in the area of Qainchi Chungi on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Sheraz. He had left his home to attend a wedding ceremony of his friend but he did not turn up there.
