Islamabad ranked the safest city in Pakistan

Islamabad : Islamabad is ranked the safest city in Pakistan at the 244th position by World Crime Index, while Karachi is the most crime-prone city of the country ranked at 71st position.

The ranking of Lahore has improved in the latest report of the World Crime Index. The previous report that came out at the start of 2019 ranked the city in the 174th position among 328 total cities measured across the world.

The security condition in Lahore has improved which is the major reason for its improved ranking, reported Research Snipers.News.

The most dangerous city in the world as per the World Crime Index is Caracas in Venezuela. The safest city in the world is Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates having 89.39 points on safety index. On the crime index, the city scored 10.61.

The crime index and safety index of Islamabad are 30.47, and 69.53 respectively. The crime and safety index of Lahore is 38.43, and 61.57 while Karachi’s crime and safety index are 56.79, and 43.21 respectively.

The topmost dangerous cities in the world are Caracas in Venezuela, Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea, San Pedro Sula in Honduras, Pretoria in South Africa, Durban in South Africa, Johannesburg in South Africa, Fortaleza in Brazil, Salvador in Brazil, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The top 10 safest cities are Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Doha in Qatar, Quebec City in Canada, Taipei in Taiwan, Munich in Germany, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Zurich in Switzerland, and Bern in Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Eskisehir in Turkey.
