LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar has said the banned organisations’ supporters must be removed from public offices to successfully execute the cleanup operation against banned organisations and terrorists.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Sawar, also a former Governor of Punjab, said the PTI fully supported the cleanup operation against banned organisations and terrorists. Without removing banned organisations’ supporters from public offices, he said that even a hundred operations would not be able to cleanse the society from the menace of terrorism.
For the sake of establishing peace, he said the government should continue operation against target killers and extortionists without any discrimination. He said the PTI had always voiced for establishing peace because it could help bring prosperity in the country.
The PTI provincial organiser welcomed army leadership’s decision to launch operation against terrorists and extremists in Punjab and announced party’s complete support. He said everybody knew that some government functionaries in Punjab had direct relations with the banned organisations and demanded that such elements must be removed from their positions for the success of cleanup operation.
