Islamabad :The holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal brings with it the joyous announcement of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In order to celebrate the birth of Almighty Allah's beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-7/2, held the ceremony of Milad-i-Mustafa on campus.
The faculty, alumni and the students actively took part in the event.
They recited Na’at with reverence to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Madam Tanveer Zehra of the Urdu Department shed light on the importance of the recitation of Darood Pak.
Madam Naira Qadeer of the Department of Pakistan Studies spoke on the architectural wonder of Masjid-e-Nabwi.
The guest speaker, Mrs. Tehreem Zafar, extolled upon the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She said Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was kindness personified as he insisted on the fair treatment of every person regardless of caste, colour, gender, and creed. The students presented salaam for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Milaad-e-Mustafa ended with a ‘dua’ by Madam Ayesha Madni of the Department of Islamiat.
