BANGKOK: Seven workers were killed after a huge concrete slab caved in at a construction site in Thailand’s southern province of Phuket on Thursday, the police said.
Seven workers were killed and two others were seriously injured after the large concrete slab collapsed at the scene where a gas station is currently under construction in Thalang district of Phuket.
Rescue workers managed to retrieve the bodies of the deceased and injured workers from
under the caved-in concrete slab. Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
