PCB BoG constitutes four-member nomination committee
KARACHI: The Board of Governors (BoG) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has constituted a four-member nomination committee for a period of three years, ‘The News’ has learnt.
According to an informed source, the committee will comprise BoG members Asad Ali Khan, Shahrez Khan, independent member Bakhtiar Khawaja and SGM Legal Affairs PCB, Barrister Salman Naser.
The nomination committee will be responsible for considering and making recommendations for the appointment of independent members of BoG, PCB election commissioners and adjudicator. It will recommend at least two individuals for each position to be appointed by the BoG.
The committee has been established as prescribed in clause 39 of the PCB constitution. The BoG will appoint chairman of the nomination committee later.
