NAB files reference against Azad Behrani, 32 others

SUKKUR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sukkur, filed a corruption reference against Azad Behrani and 32 other for alleged corruption in Education and Works Department’s projects on Wednesday. The NAB produced Azad Behrani before the Accountability Court Sukkur and requested extending physical remand by 14 more days.
On the court directions, the NAB prosecutor submitted a reference against Behrani and 32 others, claiming alleged corruption in Education and Works department’s schemes.
The NAB also filed a Rs 150 million reference against Abbas Jakhrani for repairs of government schools in Jacobabad district. The accountability court judge sent Jakhrani to judicial remand till November 25.
