Notification of changes in cabinet issued

ISLAMABAD: Khusro Bakhtiar was given the portfolio of Ministry of National Food Security and Research on Tuesday, according to a notification from the Cabinet Division.

Khusro Bakhtiar was relocated to the ministry after former finance minister Asad Umar was appointed Minister for Planning, Development and Reform. Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan was relocated as the Minister for States and Frontier Regions (Safron) from his previous portfolio of National Food Security and Research. Asad Umar on Tuesday also took oath as Minister for Planning Development and Reforms. President Alvi administered oath to Asad Umar.
