JUI-F pledges to get rid of Imran Khan
SUKKUR: JUI-F Secretary General, Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro, has said his party has pledged to get rid of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide relief to the people.
While addressing the participants of a sit-in of Azadi March in Khairpur, Ghotki, the general secretary JUI-F said the protesters would not return to their homes without getting the prime minister’s resignation. He categorically rejected any possibility of a deal with the government. The JUI-F leader said the sit-in was ended on the directives of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The JUI-F Sindh Chapter blocked the national highways at five different points, including Sindh-Balochistan border, Obaro Sindh-Punjab border, and Indus Highway at Kandhkot, Sukkur, and Khairpur.
Soomro said ending the sit-in in Islamabad was not a deal but part of the plan ‘A,’ while the plan ‘B’ is still continuing and the protesters have decided to continue with the sit-in until prime minister tenders his resignation. He said the prices of vegetables and flour have gone beyond the reach of common person who has been inflicted by the “tsunami of inflation.” Soomro said his party would soon implement plan ‘C’ of Jail Bharo Tehreek. He said on November 28, 2019, the “Fifth Shuhda-e-Islam Conference” will be held in Sukkur.
