TOBA TEK SINGH: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Amer Ijaz Akbar Friday hoisted the national flag at in sports stadium on the occasion of the 69th Independence Day.
DPO Rana Shahzad Akbar, MPAs Mian Rafiq, Amjad Javed, Ayub Gadhi and ex district nazim Chaudhry Abdul Sattar were also present on the occasion.
Ceremonies were also arranged at different educational institutions where flags were also hoisted.
Pakistan’s national players and other dignitaries also attended the ceremonies.
Later, the DCO visited Darul Amaan, Old Age Home, and DHQ hospital and distributed sweets among the residents. Similar functions were arranged at Gojra, Kamalia and Pirmahal areas as well.
