BARA: An officer of the security forces was killed and two others sustained injures when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Tirha valley of Khyber Agency on Wednesday, sources said.
The sources said that the security forces were busy clearing the area from the explosive materials when explosive device went off in Sepah area in Tirah valley.
As a result, three soldiers including Captain Farooq sustained injuries. They were rushed to a nearby health facility where Captain Farooq succumbed to the injuries.
