Woman, daughter killed for ‘honour’

OKARA: A woman and her daughter were killed for ‘honour’ at Karamwala near Bangla Gogera on Saturday.
Saima, w/o Abdul Ghafoor, and his daughter Sobia, eloped with their paramours few days back. Later, both were returned through Panchayat. On the day of the incident, accused Sarfraz, the brother of Abdul Ghafoor, allegedly shot both women dead. Gogera police have registered a case.
MAN DIES ON ROAD: A man died while his son sustained injuries in an accident at 45/3R village on Saturday.
Khushi Muhammad and his son Faisal were on their way by a bike when their vehicle rammed into a roadside tree. As a result, Khushi Muhammad died on the spot while Faisal was injured and referred to a hospital.
