PESHAWAR: Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Mubarak Zeb, assumed charge as Capital City Police Officer on Friday, replacing Ijaz Ahmad who has left for a fellowship abroad. Another senior police officer, Mohammad Alam Shinwari, was posted as DIG Headquarters and Muhammad Zafar Ali as DIG Traffic, Peshawar. Both the officers arrived recently after completing senior management course. Prior to his new assignment, Mubarak Zeb was performing his duty as DIG Headquarters at the Central Police Office. He has previously served as DIG Enquiry and Inspection.
