PESHAWAR: Former captain of Sri Lankan cricket team Sanath Jayasuria visited Corps Headquarters and called on Corps Commander Lieutenant-General Hidayatur Rehman.
A press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the guest stayed with the corps commander for some time and expressed his solidarity with the families who had lost their near and dear ones in the attack on Army Public School last year, said a press release of the Inter Services Public Relations.
Later, Jayasuria visited the Army Public School (APS) on the Warsak Road where he met the staff and students and laid a floral wreath at the martyrs’ monument. He paid homage to the martyrs and appreciated the courage of young students.
