SOA to organise Independence Day Games

KARACHI: Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) will be celebrating Independence Day on August 14 by organising several sports events.
Usama Qadri, President SOA has instructed all divisional Olympic associations — namely Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas and Benazirabad and also provincial sports associations to organize the sports activities to celebrate the Independence Day.
SOA itself will also supervise different sports events in Karachi.
Events of Badminton, Boxing, Cycling, Handball, Judo, Taekwondo, Wushu, Weightlifting, Netball, Throwball, Volleyball, Sepathakwara, Baseball, Softball and Tug of war will be organised.
The dates and venues of the sports event will be announced on August 12. The closing ceremony of SOA Independence Day Games will be held on August 14 here at Mini Sports Complex.
