Rawalpindi: A land dispute claimed the lives of two young men at Kirpal, Dhoke Najam, located on the outskirts of Rawat, on Thursday morning when their rival group riddled them with bullets, police said.
Police said that rivals stormed into the house of two real brothers — Kamran and Mubarik — and opened fire on them. Both brothers died on the spot, while three other family members sustained bullet injuries.
Police have taken up the case and registered an FIR against the assailants after shifting the corpses and injured to the District Headquarters Hospital.
