A man died under mysterious circumstances in the house of his in-laws in the Misrishah area on Wednesday.
Ishfaq came to the house of his in-laws in Shuja Colony where his condition went serious. He was rushed to a local hospital where he expired. Hospital sources suspected that he might have died of tainted liquor. Police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
PRIZE: A patrolling officer of Ichra Traffic Sector has set an example of honesty after he returned saving certificates worth Rs 30 lakh and other important documents to their owner. Patrolling officer Amanat spotted a bag lying on a road. He informed in charge sector and DSP who contacted the owner of the bag with the help of bank concerned. Owner Roshan Ara came to the bank where the patrolling officer handed over the bag to her. CTO announced cash prize and appreciation certificate for him.
ACCIDENTS: At least 603 accidents were reported in Rescue 1122 Provincial Monitoring Cell in all 37 Districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours in which 9 lives were lost during these traffic accidents in different districts of Punjab and 512 serious injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant districts. Some 206 victims sustaining minor injuries were provided first aid on the spot.
