Doctorate degrees

Many people think that we need PhDs in the field of science alone. This is wrong. We need PhDs in all subject areas.
The Higher Education Commission should encourage perspective students and provide incentives and opportunities to highly qualified professionals who are, unfortunately, a minority in our country. The recent announcement to pay special allowance to PhD-holders is a positive development. It is hoped more work will be done to encourage education because only through education can ‘change’ be made possible.
