Islamabad: The latest technology needs to be used to increase literacy rate and improve quality of education, said education minister Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday.
Addressing a function here, the minister said the government was committed to ensuring a level-playing field for all children in the education sector. "Expeditious work is underway to introduce uniformed education system across the country," he said.
The minister said the government was striving to provide skill training to the students at the school level. He called for the use of the latest technology to increase literacy rate and improve the quality of education.
