Every year, MBBS students receive laptops under the PM’s Laptop Scheme as a token of appreciation for their hard work and meritorious achievement of getting admitted to one of the top and the oldest medical institution of the country – the King Edward Medical University.
However, this year proved to be somewhat different for the students of batch 2013-18. We kept waiting for our laptops (starting 2013). When the laptops were finally given in April 2015, their distribution was so unfair and senseless that more than half of the students have been left without laptops. The PM is requested to look into the matter and ensure that the remaining MBBS students receive their laptops as soon as possible.
