Advisor to chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) former State Minister and Senator Dr Shahzad Waseem has said that political parties are representative of people and are responsible for bringing change in life of common people.
He expressed these views while addressing a seminar of South Asia political parties held in Beijing at central secretariat of Communist Party of China (CPC).
Ideology, organisation and empowerment of workers at grassroots level are core principles of PTI as a result of which it emerged as most popular party in the country.
Dr Shahzad Waseem stressed on the need of enhancing interaction between political parties of different countries so that they can share their experiences and learn from each other's best practices and experiences.
The PTI leader also had discussions with senior leaders of CPC on the subjects of mutual interest. Later, he was awarded with certificate from CPC on his outstanding contribution in seminar. Dr Shahzad Waseem took part in deliberations at various levels and addressed at least five gatherings during his stay in China.
